We are still looking to have race end of July.  Bike route will NOT go Downtown due to construction.  We will find a new way to get to Pleasant St.

ARE YOU READY???  JULY 27TH 2014, we will return for a 3rd year.

This will be the 3rd Annual Sprint Triathlon in Concord NH at NHTI on July 27th, 2014.

The triathlon will start at 8am.

2014 Updates

Old Cap City website is gone, FAST Events is up and running.  FIRST 65 people get in for $65!  Next people in for $75

2014 Facts:

  • Limit to 200 Athletes
  • The swim will be 1/3 mile (unless weather prevails) see new swim map.
  • Same bike course as 2013.
  • The run might change a little but will still use 1 loop of the trails.
  • Thinking about a duathlon.......stay tuned

Course Description

Transition: Transition will open at 6:00am, Close at 7:40am. Mandatory meeting at boat ramp at 7:45am.

The Swim: Will consist of a 1/3 mile swim in the Merrimack river with a clockwise rectangular swim from the boat launch. This will be an “In Water Start” with 2 minute between swim waves.

The Bike: 15 miles to view scenic Concord and will ride by the state capitol building and then loop throughout the city. The bike ride will have 1 aid station, policing to control the traffic and volunteers directing you.

  • This is an open course (NOT CLOSED TO TRAFFIC).
  • You will be riding on a sidewalk and going over train tracks, please be cautious.
  • Main St. is not closed off to parking and you’ll need to be cautious of parked cars backing out of spaces.
  • From miles 7 to 10 it is moderately hilly.
  • Bike course will be monitored by a USAT official and all rules will be enforced.

The Run: The 3.1 mile run will be flat, partly on NHTI campus and part of it will be over by CASC (Concord Ambulatory Surgery Center) with an aid station at the turn around and one every mile.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Veterns Club at NHTI Community College.
